Bodyo and GYOC are some very interesting startups, so we'll tell you about their innovative projects.
Bodyo
A company that seeks to improve people's well-being through the creation of health devices that raise awareness, prevent diseases and are accessible. Its projects include:
The AiPod: which is adapted for open areas, a device that is coo means in company intended for teleconsultation, with disinfection and temperature control technology, seeks to be placed in high-traffic areas.
The Health Lounge: This is intended for a more personalized teleconsultation, ideal for people with mobility problems, without the need to feel pressured by use and, like the AiPad, has technology for disinfection and temperature control.
These capsules have the ability to obtain data such as:
Blood pressure
Hydration
Oxygen saturation, respiratory rate and arterial stiffness
Body composition
Height, weight and body mass index.
The metabolism
These capsules are intended to obtain real data, which is available to the research community, and which can be used to monitor health, protecting people's information by replacing personal information, so that it cannot be related to a person without obtaining more information, because it ensures that the data remains unavailable without greater access.
The reading time for all your health data is 6 minutes.
Bodyo not only focuses on real-time measurement of data collected from people, but also offers an application where we can monitor our diagnosis, as well as some activities that we can develop to maintain good health, diets to follow to maintain a good diet, and sleep monitoring directly linked to health.
Grow Your Own Cloud (GYOC)
Biotechnology company that is betting on the development of data storage in plants, calling it clean data.
This company considers the fact that we host a large amount of data in a cloud which is not endless and uses a lot of energy, which is seen as the new oil and yes, like this, it also impacts the world.
Gyoc wants to bet on a world where data storage absorbs CO2, shared by pollination with a new cloud approach but which does not use the amount of material that our data contains as it is apparently intangible using the DNA known as the oldest storage.
As a means of avoiding data obsolescence, DNA lasts much longer and is capable of storing 200 petabytes per gram. They chose plants for their characteristics and the genome of Paris Japonica which is considered to have the largest DNA structure than that of a human.
These startups were invited to Viva Technology at the 2019 Startup Fair held every year in Paris, to showcase their innovative projects. If you want to know what Viva Technology is, you can go to our article.
